Natural graphite carbon brush

Natural graphite carbon brush is one of very important products of BOYO CARBON. The grade of this type are named by the letter “S”. These kinds of carbon brush material are based on natural graphite which go through a prolonged heat treatment during manufacture. The properties thus obtained make them capable of operating satisfactorily at the highest surface speeds at present in use. Some residue of the natural impurity remains in the brush material after processing and this provides the friction factor essential for satisfactory current collection at high collector speeds. This inclusion may sometimes result in more commutator wear than with brushes of the electro-graphite grades, but on the other hand, natural graphite carbon brushes have long life and operational stability when used for applications to which they are specifically suited.
