BRUSH HOLDERS

The brush holders' function is to press the carbon brush on the surface of commutator or slip ring by spring. And the current will be transmit smoothly. It is very important parts for the electric motor. When the brush holder is out of place the top quality carbon brush still can affect the electric motor working.

We need to pay attention on the following aspects: 1)keeping the carbon brush steady. 2)It need to load and unload the carbon brush in the brush box.3)Ajusting the brush holders'position to prevent wearing the commutator or slip ring. 4)Watching the spring pressure to escape the carbon brush ‘s off normal wearing. 5)Right way of loading and unloading.

Generally speaking,the brush holder is mainly made by brass , aluminum or other composite material. It need the material with good machinery intensity, processability , corrosion resistance, heat dispersion ability, and conductivity,etc.
